Re: V festival
Went the year Eminem and Rhianna headlined (about 4 or 5 years ago I believe) and wont be going again.

Yeah it was just a weekend piss up with mates and a good laugh but the line up is the same every year bar one or two and it is like a kids festival now, full of TOWIE wannabe's and complete cunts (present company not included).

Re: V festival
V Festival was more rock than pop when it started way back when. As years have gone by the line-up's have got more poppy but I think alot of that is in line with music itself.

I suppose when you look at the weekend you have Kasabian, Courteeners, Reverand and The Makers, Stereophonics, The Charlatans, Echo and The Bunnymen. So there's some decent bands in between all the pop.

In the dance tents there's Andy C, Pendulum, Annie Mac in the dance arena and some superb DJ's in the dance tents.

V always has been a pretty 'pop' type festival but I must admit looking at it this year it is the most 'poppy' line up I have seen. But pop music is very big at the moment.

If I was going I'd fucking enjoy it I know that.

Re: V festival
V Festival has always been about pop music so why anyone gets in uproar about it having pop acts still amazes me.

I'd rather go to a million V festivals than one Glastonbury.

I'd also rather see Calvin Harris headline than Florence and the Machine.

Re: V festival
